Guest: Jessica Stockmeyer
Hello everyone. My name is Jessica, and I am so honored to be a guest designer this week for the Creative Belli Challenge Blog. I live in Buffalo, NY with my husband of 8 ½ years and 3 daughters. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. I actually began stamping when I was in middle school. It looked like a fun thing to do. At that time, there was a LCS that had a stamping club I would go to. I of course was the youngest one in the room, but the older women were so nice to me, and taught me some tricks of the trade. Well, during college I put the stamping on the back burner. About 3 years ago, while pregnant with my 3rd child I went to a SU party, and instantly became hooked again. Over the last 3 years I have made significant progress in my “stamping skills”. I even started a blog this past year, which I am a bit of a blog-addict now. I love playing along with challenges on various blogs. Other than stamping, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, surfing the net, and volunteering at my daughters’ school.
Guest: Cassie Knox
Hello everyone. My name is Cassie, and I am very honored to be asked to be a Guest Designers for the Belli Challenges. I got into stamping 9 years ago and have only recently discovered the joys of challenges. I love how it can help me out of a slump or even get me to think outside of the box. This hobby of mine is used for many things, one of which is for stress release. I tend to go in waves between card making and scrapbooking with a scatter of 3D projects in between it all. I must balance my time of crafting with my loving hubby and two wonderful small boys as well as my teaching job.

Belli Challenge #71~ WOOD~

Before we get started with our Belli challenge I would like to introduce our guest designers for the month of August. Both of these ladies are very talented and you will enjoy their creations.

First up is Ann Vento:

My name is Ann and I'm honored to be your guest designer for August! I live in Los Angeles, California where the sun always shines even through the smog. My passion is to love and live life to the utmost extent, but my dogs, crafting, the outdoors, science, my computer, and chocolate come a close second. My crafting style varies from classic and elegant to cute and whimsy. I don't limit myself and just go with whatever I feel like creating. Art is a practice of freedom, after all. I hope to inspire you as you all inspire me!

and then we have Kyra Sanders:

Hey all you fabulouse peeps!! I live in sunny, scenic northern Arizona on the edge of the end of the world with my husband, and our furbabies. I'm a retired biologist specializing in rescues. I can't wait to meet each and every one of you!

I am a paper-holic. From that first art class in kindergarten I was hooked! I like to get messy, and try things just to see how they'll turn out. I became a master printer by the time I was 15 (running offset industry presses), have hand lettered signs and diplomas, am a professional photographer, and general gadget geek! Most recently, I was published in the Paper Craft Planet newsletter with an article about the sociological need for papercrafts.

I started scrapbooking in 1996 when my only child was 3. I have 2 degrees from Creating Keepsakes University - one in album creation, and the other in teaching. I've taught scrapbooking for many years, and I love {LOVE!} seeing the excitement when my students grasp a new tool, technique or concept. Come play along!
*******************************************************************
Now on to the challenge. This week the Belli challenge is to use WOOD on your cards and projects. It can be real wood such as a stick out of the yard, an embellishment made of wood or you can do faux wood as some of our designers have done. The Belli girls once again did a fabulous job and we have lots of eye candy for you today to give you some inspiration. We will start with the Guest Designers

Holly Brown: 3 Samples

Joan Ervin: 2 Samples
